The "SYNERGENEX" series, an external collaboration toy line launched by Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand T-SPARK, has announced its latest product, "Hunter Wolf GARO," in collaboration with the tokusatsu masterpiece "GARO," which celebrates its 20th anniversary. Pre-orders for the product will begin on October 03, 2025, with this batch expected to ship in mid-December 2025. Other sales methods will be announced at a later date.
In "GARO," the first work in the series aired 20 years ago, the protagonist Kouga Saejima is a Makai Knight who inherited the golden armor from his father, Taiga Saejima. He can transform into the Golden Knight GARO, known as the strongest in the series, and uses powerful martial arts and purification abilities to resolve the darkness within human hearts and defeat the demonic beasts known as "Horrors." He wields the sharp Garoken to slay demons, and when encountering large Horrors, he can summon the Madou Horse Goten for support, transforming the Garoken into the even larger "Garo Zanbaken" to combat them.

The "SYNERGENEX Hunter Wolf GARO" is a modified version of the previously released "ZW16 Hunter Wolf" Zoid from "Zoids Wild Blast." It similarly allows for the assembly of included external armor parts onto a movable frame, gradually transforming from "Skeletal Form" to "Complete Form." It is crafted using gold molded internal frame parts, electroplated gold external armor parts, and electroplated silver weapon parts. Various "Madou Characters" can also be applied to the armor surface, recreating the image of GARO's "Golden Armor."
