Kotobukiya, a Japanese model manufacturer, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced the new product "Seira Ichijo [Cheerleading Outfit]" from their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," scheduled for release in February 2026.
Seira Ichijo attends Reiho High School and is a cheerleader who wants to cheer on others when she sees them working hard. She's a "mom-type" gal who loves taking care of her friends like Emma and Rui. With a cheerful and outgoing personality and a strong sense of justice, she rarely gets angry, but can become terrifying when protecting her important friends and family. Seira, who is skilled at cooking, currently works part-time at a diner. Her goal is to become a stylist who makes protagonists shine even brighter, just like the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella.
"Seira Ichijo [Cheerleading Outfit]" utilizes new parts to recreate her body in a cheerleading outfit. The flowing skirt is recreated with a double-layered structure using blue and yellow parts, and includes two types of interchangeable parts: static for a normal standing pose, and dynamic for active poses. The blue lines around the collar of the top part are pre-painted, achieving a high level of completion even with a straight build. The more complex hair sculpt is also the same as the uniform version; the purple highlights in her bangs are achieved with separate molded parts, and the side ponytails feature a complex hair bundle composition, giving them a bouncy and light feel.
Thanks to the movable joint design from the chest to the waist, it's possible to pose her with flexible, significant forward bends and backward leans. The neck's ball joint connector uses a front-to-back sliding specification, enhancing the head's range of motion. Furthermore, the limbs include integrated "fixed pose parts," including deeply bent arms and legs, and fully extended arm parts. The bending angle is greater than that of the movable parts, and they do not expose any part seams or joint parts, offering a wider variety of natural poses.
Accessories include four completely new sculpts of pre-painted / unpainted face parts: a "Favorite Face" for someone she adores, a friendly "Smiling Face," a mischievous "Cunning Face," and a slightly disappointed "Dejected Face." The two indispensable "pom-poms" for cheerleading are composed of five parts each, with slight differences in the left and right hand sculpts. The interior features a 3mm diameter grip structure, allowing the character's hand to hold them firmly.
