Japanese model maker MEGAHOUSE has unveiled the developing prototype of its latest work, "Destoroyah (Perfect Form)", from the movie "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah", for its 'UA Monsters' series of monster statues, which feature large sizes and light/sound effects. The release date is yet to be determined.

Destoroyah was originally a microscopic crustacean that lived in an oxygen-free environment 2.5 billion years ago. In 1954, Dr. Serizawa used the "Oxygen Destroyer" to kill the first Godzilla, but also awakened Destoroyah, which had been dormant in ancient geological strata, and it gradually mutated into a creature adapted to oxygen. After contact with oxygen, it gradually mutated from its original 2-5 millimeters into juveniles nearly 2 meters in size, and could further aggregate and evolve into "Aggregate Forms". Later, by absorbing Godzilla Junior's DNA and power plant energy, it mutated and evolved into a Perfect Form exceeding 200 meters. Its colossal figure resembled a terrifying demon, and its powerful ray could cut through Godzilla's skin. Its only weakness was extremely low-temperature freezing rays.

From the currently exhibited developing prototype of "UA Monsters Destoroyah (Perfect Form)", one can see that the overall sculpt meticulously depicts highly organic carapace patterns, a ferocious head sculpt, and a robust body, capturing its roaring pose with wings spread during the climactic battle in the film. Compared to the already released "UA Monsters Burning Godzilla", its overall size is even larger, making us anticipate how the rich light and sound effects will be incorporated into the final product's design.
