"Terminator Salvation" Director Tapped for KISS Biopic; Jonas Brothers' Nick Jonas Joins Cast

The highly anticipated KISS biopic, "Shout It Out Loud," has been in development since 2021. Originally set up at Netflix with "Tron: Ares" director Joachim Rønning at the helm, the project has now moved to STX Entertainment, which is fully funding the production. With the change in studios comes a new director: McG, known for "Terminator Salvation." Now, the first cast member has officially been revealed.

Entertainment outlet Deadline exclusively announced that KISS frontman Paul Stanley will be portrayed by Nick Jonas (pictured above), a singer and band member himself, best known as the youngest of the Jonas Brothers. Reportedly, Jonas will perform KISS's songs in the film.

"Shout It Out Loud" is slated to begin principal photography later this year or early next year. The film will chronicle KISS's formation in the 1970s, with the latest draft of the screenplay penned by Darren Lemke, co-writer of "Gemini Man."
