METAL BUILD "Force Impulse Gundam" Announced for Commercialization! Alloy Frame Combined with Intricate Details, Recreating Four-Part Separation and Combination Mechanism!

The popular alloy toy "METAL BUILD" series, issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., has officially announced the commercialization of its latest work from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY", the "Force Impulse Gundam". Detailed product information will be announced at a later date.

The ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam is a new cutting-edge machine from the "Second Generation Series" developed under the leadership of P.L.A.N.T. Chairman Gilbert Durandal. Although restricted by the Junius Treaty from using nuclear engines, the new deuterium beam power supply system can still provide stable energy. Furthermore, a new equipment changing mechanism, the "Silhouette System," was developed, referencing the Striker Packs of the Strike Gundam. It allows equipment to be carried to the battlefield by drones, enabling form changes without returning to the mothership. Among them, the most versatile "Force Type" equipment features a high-mobility thruster pack on its back, demonstrating excellent flight capabilities in both space and within the atmosphere.

After exhibiting a prototype of the Impulse Gundam main unit at the end of 2023, it has now finally been announced that it will be commercialized along with its Force Silhouette equipment. In the latest released product images, it can be seen that the "METAL BUILD Force Impulse Gundam" is produced based on an alloy frame, utilizing extensive part separation to recreate each armor block, heat vent, thruster, etc. It features high-density detailed sculpting, applied with various metallic colors and body markings for a realistic texture. Combined with flexible articulation in each part, it recreates the dynamic combat poses of the Force Impulse Gundam.

Furthermore, as seen in the product silhouette released earlier, the METAL BUILD version can also achieve the separation and combination mechanism of its four components: Chest Flyer, Leg Flyer, Core Splendor, and Force Silhouette. We can look forward to how the actual product will handle the design of the combination mechanism and the issue of joint strength.
