From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular alloy action figure line 'METAL BUILD' has announced a new branch, the 'METAL BUILD EX PROJECT' series, is developing a new work from "Digimon": "Omnimon", with a release date yet to be determined.
The Holy Knight (Super) Ultimate Digimon "Omnimon" was originally a newly designed Digimon for the theatrical masterpiece "Digimon Adventure: Our War Game!". In the film, Taichi and Yamato's partners, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, received the will and thoughts of people wishing for goodness and peace, thus fusing to be reborn as the even more powerful Royal Knight "Omnimon". He combines the characteristics of the two Ultimate Digimon, wielding the invincible "Grey Sword" inscribed with the Digicode "ALL DELETE" in his left hand, and firing the absolute zero "Garuru Cannon" from his right hand. In the film, he instantly annihilated the infinitely multiplying Diaboromon, a cool figure that remains deeply impressive to this day.
The "METAL BUILD EX PROJECT Omnimon"'s overall design closely adheres to the original setting, faithfully reproducing its slender body, wide feet, and sleek, smooth armor. It meticulously recreates rich details such as the chest emblem, the wrinkles on its black arms, and its abdominal lines. The "Grey Sword" and "Garuru Cannon" on both hands feature substantial size and a heavy metallic texture coating, promising a powerful appearance when the sword blade and cannon muzzle are extended.
