Netflix has just dropped the first trailer for its upcoming animated film, "The Twits," set to premiere next Friday.
Based on the beloved children's book by late literary master Roald Dahl, "The Twits" is co-directed by Phil Johnston ("Ralph Breaks the Internet"), Katie Shanahan ("Centaurworld"), and Todd Demong. Johnston also co-wrote the screenplay with Meg Favreau. The film is scheduled to officially launch on October 17.

The star-studded voice cast includes Johnny Vegas, Jason Mantzoukas, Alan Tudyk, Emmy winner Margo Martindale, Oscar winner Natalie Portman, "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke as the "Mother of Dragons," and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan from the Netflix series "Never Have I Ever," among others.
The official synopsis describes the film as: The meanest, dirtiest villains unleash their wicked schemes to take over an entire town, prompting two brave children and a group of magical animals to team up and vow to defeat them.
