From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the METAL ROBOT魂 series has officially announced its latest product from the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children", the "Hi-Nu Gundam -Exclusive Edition-", scheduled for release in November 2025.
The RX-93-ν2 Hi-Nu Gundam is Amuro Ray's dedicated mobile suit that appears in the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children", holding a status in the story equivalent to the RX-93 ν Gundam from the anime version. Compared to the hastily completed ν Gundam, this unit underwent thorough maintenance and testing, thus achieving more complete performance. Its exterior is designed in blue and white, with a more robust silhouette. The Fin Funnels on its back are symmetrically fixed to the wing propellants and possess a charging function. It can also use the super-large, high-firepower beam weapon "Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher", which draws energy from the battleship "Ra Cailum".
The "METAL ROBOT魂 Hi-Nu Gundam -Exclusive Edition-" is a modification of the regular edition released in 2019. The entire model's paint scheme is based on the initial design drawn by mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi for the novel, featuring refreshed colors and body marking designs. It faithfully reproduces the characteristic "dot camouflage" paint on the shield and the distinct tail fin shape on the backpack. The original shield and tail fin parts are also included, allowing for free customization.
The Hi-Nu Gundam, standing approximately 14 cm tall, features precise sculpting that captures its refined heavy armor and numerous attitude control thrusters across its body. Many key joint parts are made of alloy material, offering both high strength and a sense of weight. Accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, a Beam Rifle, a Hyper Bazooka, Beam Sabers, and Beam Blade effects. The 6 Fin Funnels and two propellant tanks mounted on the backpack are also freely detachable, allowing for dynamic battle poses with the dedicated display stand.
