The classic animated series "Ben 10" is set for a comic book reboot! Dynamite announced that the series has officially been licensed by Warner Bros. and will see the full return of original studio Man of Action Entertainment to oversee and create the new comic, which will be published by IDW. 
Reportedly, the "Ben 10" comic will feature the collaborative involvement of the four original creators: Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, and Steven T. Seagle. The first issue is slated for release in February 2026, with Casey serving as the initial lead writer.
Man of Action, founded in the early 2000s, is comprised of four comic creators who have worked across the American comic industry on major series like "Superman" and "Spider-Man," and created original works such as "Big Hero 6." This return is highly significant for fans, as "Ben 10" stands as one of Man of Action's most iconic successful series, marking twenty years since its animated debut.
According to information released by Dynamite, the new series will be spearheaded by Casey as writer, joined by artist Robert Carey, known for his work on comics such as "Outsiders," "James Bond," and "Jennifer Blood." The Man of Action team will guide the overall creative direction and will take turns writing subsequent arcs, breathing new life into this classic universe. 
The new "Ben 10" will adopt a more intuitive and action-driven narrative style. Dynamite stated that this iteration aims not only to evoke nostalgia for long-time fans but also to captivate a new generation of readers with a modern perspective. The comic will fully leverage the freedom of the medium, blending drama, emotion, and surreal elements to create broader story layers.
The first issue of "Ben 10" will kick off with a brand-new origin story, reinterpreting how young Ben Tennyson discovers the mysterious Omnitrix and the profound impact that event has on the world. Subsequently, the Man of Action team will reintegrate classic characters and settings from across the franchise, including Gwen Tennyson, Grandpa Max, Vilgax, and various alien heroes, rebuilding the entire universe with a cohesive superhero narrative style.
