A tragic incident has occurred at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, where a woman in her sixties reportedly lost consciousness after riding the popular attraction "Haunted Mansion." Despite immediate efforts by park staff and paramedics, she was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. 
According to "Entertainment Weekly," Anaheim Police Department spokesperson Matt Sutter stated that Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to a call at Disneyland on October 6, 2025, concerning a female guest who had just exited the "Haunted Mansion" attraction. Sutter noted, "The woman was unresponsive, and Disneyland security personnel immediately initiated CPR until paramedics arrived on scene."
The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment but tragically passed away. The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner's office is currently investigating to determine the official cause of death. 
Disney officials also confirmed to the media that a guest experienced a medical emergency within the park on October 6 and was transported to a hospital for care. The park stated it is fully cooperating with local police and relevant authorities in their investigation.
The "Haunted Mansion," a classic attraction since Disneyland's opening in 1969, is located in New Orleans Square and is known for its mysterious ghosts, illusions, and special lighting effects. The official website describes the ride as "suitable for all ages," noting its generally smooth experience but cautioning that young children might be frightened by the special effects.
Disney has not yet announced whether the attraction will be temporarily closed, and other rides within the park continue to operate normally.
