From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division, the 'Figure-rise Standard Amplified' series, which enhances character designs and the expressive power of plastic models, has announced its latest product from "Digimon," the "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Imperialdramon [Limited Color]," slated for release in February 2026. This product will be exclusively sold on the official Bandai online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The ancient dragon-type Digimon, "Imperialdramon," in "Digimon Adventure 02," is the Ultimate form that evolves from Paildramon, which itself is a DNA Digivolution of ExVeemon and Stingmon. It is known as the Emperor Dragon that reigned over the ancient Digital World. While possessing immense power in its basic Dragon Mode, it is also wild and difficult to control. Once it gains intelligence and successfully controls its power, Imperialdramon can transform into its true combat form, "Fighter Mode."
The "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Imperialdramon [Limited Color]" is based on the previously released regular version, with all the black, gold, blue, and red parts of the main body replaced with gorgeous metallic molded colors, expressing a heavier metallic texture than the regular version. The vivid red twin wings on the back use the same parts as the "Paladin Mode," featuring a larger size and a two-stage structure that allows for an even more dynamic wing silhouette when expanded. The product also includes a large display base with two interchangeable images: "Imperialdramon illustration" and "Digimon Adventure 02 title LOGO."
Other specifications remain the same as the regular version. The overall design was assisted by official designer Kenji Watanabe, featuring more sharp edges and armor line details reminiscent of a robot compared to the original. By replacing some parts and utilizing the main body's transformation mechanism, it can freely switch between "Dragon Mode" and "Fighter Mode." Its dedicated weapon, the "Positron Laser," can be mounted on the arms or back in both modes, and in Fighter Mode, it can recreate the pose of wielding the cannon with both hands to unleash its special move, "Giga Death."
