Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series, which sculpts figures from the skeletal structure to recreate the physique of tokusatsu hero actors, has announced its latest product from 'Kamen Rider Kuuga', the 'Kamen Rider Kuuga: Kurogatake Deathmatch Set', scheduled for release in March 2026.
At the end of the series, Yusuke Godai, in order to defeat Unidentified Life Form No. 0, 'N-Daguva-Zeba', was forced to use the same power to transform into 'Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate Form'. This form not only possesses greater physical abilities than previous forms but also many mysterious powers such as the ability to freely manipulate the atoms and molecules of surrounding matter, decomposing them to reconstruct other substances, or the 'Supernatural Pyrokinesis' ability to turn targets into plasma. However, according to ancient inscriptions, transforming into Ultimate Form would turn him into a berserk and belligerent biological weapon like the Grongi, plunging the world into eternal darkness. Fortunately, Yusuke Godai ultimately retained his self and kind heart, defeating his opponent with his own strength.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of 'Kamen Rider Kuuga', this 'Kurogatake Deathmatch Set' from the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series includes two articulated figures: Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate Form and Unidentified Life Form No. 0, 'N-Daguva-Zeba'. Not only do they faithfully recreate the suit designs and physiques from the show with luxurious gold paintwork, but this version also utilizes 3D printing technology to depict their blood and snow-covered bodies and their belts on the verge of shattering, capturing the classic, no-frills, fist-to-fist battle.
