The popular articulated figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., announced the latest product, "Ultraman Saga", from the movie "ULTRAMAN SAGA", scheduled for release in March 2026.
Ultraman Saga is the result of Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Dyna, and Ultraman Cosmos from different universes, who, at the brink of despair after being defeated by the monster Hyper Zetton, united their unwavering will to protect everyone. Their immense power converged through the "Saga Bracelet", becoming "Saga", the strongest Ultraman who brings forth miracles. His unique body appears to be composed of irregular crystals, with intense rainbow-colored light enveloping his entire form. The immense energy within him not only allows him to unleash various powerful physical techniques and beam attacks, but also grants him super-accelerated movement capabilities akin to teleportation.
"S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Saga" is produced as an articulated figure with a height of approximately 15 cm. The overall sculpt was supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS sculpting department, meticulously recreating the crystal-like asymmetrical design and applying various textured metallic paint finishes to represent his light-enveloped body. It also features articulated joint designs that minimize visible gaps. This product also incorporates new mechanisms designed specifically for Saga's unique form, including pull-out mechanisms for the elbow joints and articulated segmentation in the upper thigh/waist area, all of which allow for natural posing while maintaining the sculpt's integrity.
Accessories include 4 types of interchangeable hands for both left and right, an effect part for the wrist combat move "Saga Blade", and an effect part for the beam technique "Saga Plasma". These allow for dynamic and cool battle poses. Furthermore, TAMASHII NATIONS has announced that the strongest enemy from the film, "Hyper Zetton", will also be released as an "S.H.Figuarts" product.
