KADOKAWA's toy brand, KDcolle (KADOKAWA Collection), is set to release its latest product from "My Dress-Up Darling": the "Marin Kitagawa Yukata ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted PVC figure. It will retail for a suggested price of 21,780 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2026.
Marin Kitagawa, the protagonist of the romance manga "My Dress-Up Darling" by Japanese manga artist Shinichi Fukuda, is a gyaru high school student who loves cosplay. She is a classmate of Wakana Gojo and a passionate otaku who believes cosplay is the "ultimate expression of love" for a character. After discovering Wakana's exceptional sewing skills, Marin enlists his help to create cosplay outfits and attend events together, thus beginning their romantic story.
The "KDcolle Marin Kitagawa Yukata ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted PVC figure stands approximately 25 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Marin's yukata appearance from the summer festival scene in episode 12 of the anime. Her hair is tied up, revealing her captivating nape, while her center-parted bangs give her a more mature look than usual. The figure also includes an interchangeable hand part holding a candied apple, perfectly capturing the joyous atmosphere of the festival!
