Released by Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division, the "Ikimono Daizukan" (Creature Encyclopedia) series, known for faithfully recreating realistic details of creatures in nature, is now releasing a new product on GASHAPON ONLINE: the "Ikimono Daizukan Display Model Collection Wild Felines" capsule toy! Scheduled to ship in late February 2026, the suggested retail price is 1,000 JPY per capsule, with a total of four types to collect.
The "Ikimono Daizukan Display Model Collection," which foregoes articulation to focus entirely on sculpting and color presentation, will release new products centered on felines. The overall sculpting and coloring are handled by Japanese animal sculptor "Kiyama" (kiyama), who not only meticulously captures the wild felines' body contours, fur textures, and realistic movements but also excellently portrays their habitats. Among them, the Bengal Tiger (ベンガルトラ), which exudes a majestic aura, reaches an impressive size of 13 cm and will undoubtedly look incredibly cool when displayed!
▼ The Snow Leopard (ユキヒョウ) also has a very striking long tail.
In addition to the aforementioned Bengal Tiger and Snow Leopard, the "Ikimono Daizukan Display Model Collection Wild Felines" also includes the highly popular Pallas's Cat (マヌルネコ)! Its plump physique and thick fur are truly irresistible, and if you look closely, you might even spot a Pallas's Cat cub nearby – so adorable! Furthermore, this series features a special rare variant with only a 10% chance of appearing: the White Bengal Tiger (ホワイトタイガー), waiting for you to collect.
