Hong Kong toy brand threezero's "MDLX" series, which produces small-scale mecha action figures, will launch a new product with a Transformers comic theme – the "Optimus Prime (Comic Book Edition)" action figure. The suggested retail price is US$99, and it is scheduled for release in Q2 2026!

This MDLX Optimus Prime (Comic Book Edition) action figure stands approximately 17.8 cm tall. It reinterprets Optimus Prime's design from the "Energon Universe" comic series, published by Skybound Entertainment starting in 2023, as envisioned by threezero Art Director Kelvin Sau. The sculpt showcases the comic's proportions and design details, with battle-damaged style decals on the chest windshield, and exquisite weathering paintwork applied throughout the body to depict battle damage!

The body features a die-cast metal frame with 48 points of articulation, allowing for stable and flexible posing in various dynamic stances! Accessories include a Blaster Rifle, an Energon Axe, a Matrix of Leadership symbolizing his status as leader, and six interchangeable hands. It also includes mechanical parts for a severed arm and Megatron's right arm, which can be combined to recreate the classic scene from comic issue #5 where Optimus Prime attaches Megatron's arm!
