Taiwanese toy design company "Asmus Toys" is set to release its latest product from the popular anime series "Haikyu!!": the "Tobio Kageyama" 1/6 scale collectible action figure. Pre-orders are currently open on their official website, with an estimated release in Q2 2026.
Tobio Kageyama, a main character in "Haikyu!!", was formerly the setter for Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High. Possessing exceptional ball sense and technique, he is considered a genius volleyball setter. Due to his poor communication skills and overbearing personality, he earned the moniker "King of the Court," which is both a compliment and a criticism. After joining the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club, he teamed up with Shoyo Hinata, creating the unpredictable "Freak Quick Attack" with his precise tosses and Hinata's daring spikes.
The "ASMUS Collectible Tobio Kageyama" 1/6 scale collectible action figure recreates Kageyama's cool appearance on the court. With a finely sculpted head and a highly articulated body, it allows for various dynamic poses. It comes with three interchangeable expressions: a serious normal face, an open-mouthed face, and a chibi-style angry face, along with a variety of interchangeable hand gestures for receiving, setting, spiking, and more. The Karasuno High School volleyball team uniform is faithfully reproduced in fabric, and accessories such as knee pads, socks, a cheering towel, and sports shoes are also meticulously crafted. The serious-faced Kageyama crow is super cute~
The "ASMUS Collectible Tobio Kageyama Deluxe Version" also includes a black tracksuit jacket, sweatpants, white shoes, a magnetic crown symbolizing the King, and a magnificent King's cape with internal wiring to recreate his King appearance! It comes with two bodies, paired with a hexagonal volleyball court base and clear stand, allowing for dual display options!
To more accurately depict volleyball gestures, a clear acrylic stand is included to hold the volleyball in place on the hand, and can be adjusted as needed.
