The Ryujin Oomukade (Ryujin Centipede), also known as the "Ryujin Giant Centipede," is named after the mythology of the Ryukyu Kingdom and is the third amphibious centipede species discovered in the world. It is designated as a rare wild animal and plant in Japan and cannot be kept as a pet. However, through the "Ikimono Daizukan Ultimate Ryujin Oomukade" capsule toy, the dreams of those who wish to display a Ryujin at home can be fulfilled! Recreated in an impressive size with a total length of approximately 465mm, it features a beautiful blue-green appearance like jade, and its flexible movements are reproduced through 186 movable joints.
The specimen's form was thoroughly recreated using X-ray CT scans by JMC Co., Ltd. Mitsuhiko Hosokawa, who pioneered the articulation mechanisms for the S.H.MonsterArts series, served as the articulation designer, and Hiroaki Tanaka served as the color designer, achieving a spectacular and vibrant paint application, meticulously recreating extremely realistic details throughout!
