Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon brand, GASHAPON, has announced the latest product from the "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" series of "Mobile Suit Gundam" heavy-duty Gashapon toys, which feature common connection points and infinite customization. The new product, "EX56 Zeus Silhouette", from the theatrical anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM", is scheduled for release in February 2026.
The A-GXQ754/V2 Zeus Silhouette is an armament utilized by the world peace monitoring organization "COMPASS". In the story, it was equipped by the Akatsuki Gundam and later by the Destiny Gundam SpecII. When operating independently, it takes on an MA (Mobile Armor) form resembling a bird for transport. Upon rendezvous with its equipped target, it separates into various 강화 parts that attach to different sections of the MS body. Large thrusters are added to the rear waist and legs, while sensors and missile pods are mounted on the back. Its main armament is a super-large railgun, exceeding the MS body in length and possessing immense power. To prevent the cannon barrel from becoming unusable if damaged, it is equipped with three spare barrels upon sortie.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX56 Zeus Silhouette" boasts a relatively large overall length of 19 cm within the series, faithfully recreating the MA form of the Zeus Silhouette. Even in SD scale, it retains its cool machine silhouette and rich mechanical details. Paired with a dedicated display stand made of clear molded plastic, it can recreate the appearance of the MA flying solo.
Furthermore, this Zeus Silhouette also recreates the combination mechanism with the separately sold "EX55 Destiny Gundam SpecII". Aside from replacing the chest parts and some mechanical arms, all disassembled parts can be combined with the Destiny Gundam SpecII to recreate its powerful form wielding the super-large railgun, which measures 18 cm in total length. Additionally, the accessories include an undeployed shield part not included with the "EX55 Destiny Gundam SpecII", which can be attached to the railgun.
