From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Toy Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, has announced the latest product from the movie "GARO: TAIGA", "Golden Knight Garo (Taiga Saejima)", scheduled for release in July 2026.
The 20th-anniversary commemorative film "GARO: TAIGA" depicts the story of Kouga Saejima's father, the previous generation Garo, "Taiga Saejima", in his youth. The young Taiga Saejima possessed unparalleled swordsmanship and a gentle heart that never forgot to care for others. He inherited the Saejima family's Golden Armor, transforming into Golden Knight Garo to resolve the "Inga" (darkness within) of humans and the demon beasts known as "Horrors". One day, Taiga receives a new mission: to retrieve a compass, which seals the souls of the Four Sacred Beasts, stolen by the Snake Venom Horror Jado, alongside Makai Priest Fubuki....

The "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Golden Knight Garo (Taiga Saejima)" is a modified version based on the previously released Kouga Saejima version. It thoroughly analyzes the Garo suit used in the show, precisely reproducing the physique of the action actor. The golden armor features intricate sculpting details and utilizes gold and silver plating to recreate the mirror-like luster of the full body armor. Furthermore, rich color application is used to reproduce the red pupils (different from Kouga), various carvings, and Makai script all over the body.
In addition, the figure boasts a flexible articulation design, featuring double elbow joints, a front-and-back swing mechanism for the shoulder joints, collar armor designed to reduce interference, and a hip joint articulation mechanism, allowing for cool and natural poses. Accessories include the highly metallic "Garo Sword". Both the hilt and scabbard are reproduced with multiple metallic paint colors, and the chain part is made with metal components. Through interchangeable parts, the state of the sword drawn from its scabbard can be recreated, and the Makai script on the sword is reproduced using printing technology.
Furthermore, the product includes a special sleeve designed with the "compass" from the show. When the sleeve is unfolded, the inside features a "Sacred Beast" illustration background board designed by original author Keita Amemiya, which can be displayed together with the Garo figure!
