Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular action figure series "MAFEX" has unveiled a new product based on the Marvel movie "Deadpool & Wolverine" — the "No.291 Wolverine Damage Ver." action figure. The suggested retail price is 14,080 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2026!
This "Wolverine Damage Ver." is based on the Wolverine figure scheduled for release in June 2026, with modifications to its paintwork and sculpting. It recreates the scene from the end of the movie where Wolverine tears off his sleeves while facing the multiverse's Deadpool army, bringing to life his iconic sleeveless comic book appearance! The action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall. Yusuke Kasahara once again handled the head sculpt, meticulously capturing actor Hugh Jackman's facial features in a small scale. This time, a masked head sculpt is finally included, exquisitely reproducing details such as the fabric texture on the mask!
The body reuses the torso and legs from the regular version, with realistic bloodstains and knife wounds painted on the chest and back. The thighs are also weathered to give a dusty visual effect. The arms are sculpted to showcase the muscular physique after tearing off the sleeves, with muscle definition and bulging veins perfectly reproduced with the paintwork! Accessories include three masked head sculpts with different expressions, one Hugh Jackman head sculpt (also included in the regular version), and multiple sets of interchangeable hands. These can be posed with the highly articulated Deadpool, scheduled for release in June, to recreate scenes of them fighting side-by-side in the movie!
