SQUARE ENIX Japan has announced the upcoming release of the trading figure product "FINAL FANTASY XIV Miniature Figure Collection Vol.1", based on their popular online game *FINAL FANTASY XIV*. The set is scheduled for release on January 31, 2026.
Developed by SQUARE ENIX, the MMORPG *FINAL FANTASY XIV* continues the FF series' vast, crystal-centric worldview. Players take on the role of the summoned "Warrior of Light," arriving on the planet Hydaelyn in the continent of Eorzea, which is recovering from the "Seventh Umbral Calamity." Alongside the wise members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, players resolve issues with local beast tribes and their primals, confront the invasion of the Garlean Empire, and mediate the thousand-year Dragonsong War between the Holy See of Ishgard and the dragons. Players can create characters from 8 different races and switch between dozens of combat and crafting jobs at any time, enjoying a wealth of content including multiplayer dungeons, the Gold Saucer, crafting quests, Island Sanctuary, and more.
The "FINAL FANTASY XIV Miniature Figure Collection Vol.1" includes six popular NPC characters from the "Scions of the Seventh Dawn": Thancred, Y'shtola, Alphinaud, Alisaie, G'raha Tia, and Urianger. Each character is rendered in a super-deformed chibi style, standing approximately 7 to 9 cm tall. The figures are based on the characters' latest job appearances in the game, meticulously recreating the outfits, accessories, colors, and weapons of jobs like Sage, Red Mage, and Gunbreaker. Combined with dynamic poses, these figures showcase the characters' cool yet adorable charm.
