The popular tokusatsu and kaiju-themed soft vinyl toy series 'MOVIE MONSTER,' released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product, originating from the 'Godzilla Fes 2025' new short film 'FES Godzilla II: Shinjuku Enjo,' the 'Burning Millennium Godzilla,' slated for release in March 2026.
The brand-new short tokusatsu film 'FES Godzilla II: Shinjuku Enjo,' specially produced for 'Godzilla Fes 2025,' the biggest annual festival for 'Godzilla,' depicts a new battle waged by Millennium Godzilla in Tokyo's Shinjuku Kabukicho district. The Godzilla appearing in the film utilizes the same suit from the movie 'Godzilla 2000,' and upon landing in Shinjuku, even has a delightful encounter with the famous landmark, the 'Godzilla Head at Shinjuku Toho Building.' When Millennium Godzilla is attacked by the Japan Self-Defense Forces, its body temperature instantly rises, transforming it into its 'Burning Form.' The powerful heat ray it emits from its mouth engulfs the city in flames, but at this moment, another kaiju's silhouette approaches from within the smoke...
The 'MOVIE MONSTER Burning Millennium Godzilla' is based on a modification of the previously released Millennium Godzilla ver. 2.0. The overall sculpt is fully supervised by designer Shinichi Wakasa, faithfully recreating the ferocious, reptile-like head sculpt, the spiky, thorny skin across its body, and the massive, lightning-bolt-shaped dorsal fins. It features a transparent molded base with multiple layers of spray paint applied to capture its deep crimson eyes and intensely burning skin.
