Produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, the soft vinyl model "Toho 30cm Series," which features Toho's special effects monsters, showcased the latest product, the painted sample of "Burning Millennium Godzilla," from the new short film "FES Godzilla II: Shinjuku Enjo" featured at "Godzilla Fes 2025." Release date is yet to be determined.
The brand-new short special effects film "FES Godzilla II: Shinjuku Enjo," created specifically for "Godzilla Fes 2025," the biggest annual Godzilla festival, depicts Millennium Godzilla engaging in a new battle in Shinjuku, Kabukicho, Tokyo. The Godzilla appearing in the film uses the same suit from the movie "Godzilla 2000," and upon landing in Shinjuku, it even has a reunion with the famous landmark, the "Godzilla Head at Shinjuku Toho Building." When Millennium Godzilla is attacked by the Japan Self-Defense Forces, its body temperature instantly rises, transforming it into its "Burning Form." The powerful heat ray it emits from its mouth engulfs the city in flames, but at this moment, another monster's silhouette approaches from within the smoke...
The "Toho 30cm Series Burning Millennium Godzilla" painted sample is currently on display at the "Godzilla Fes 2025" venue. Its overall sculpt faithfully recreates the characteristics of the suit from the film, featuring a fierce, reptile-like head sculpt, spiky, thorny skin all over its body, and massive lightning-bolt-shaped dorsal fins. Transparent molded parts combined with color paintwork are used to depict the black skin and dorsal fins glowing red due to the high internal temperature.
