Released by Japanese model manufacturer PLEX, the 'GODZILLA VINYL ART' series collaborates with active artists from Japan and around the world, integrating their distinctive styles into kaiju soft vinyl models. The latest products, 'GVA-BC Burning Millennium Godzilla Frog tree (Burning Color)' and 'GVA-BC Burning Millennium Godzilla Pico Pico (Burning Color)', which are based on the new short film 'FES Godzilla II: Shinjuku Inferno' from 'Godzilla Fes 2025', were showcased as painted samples and are expected to be released in spring 2025.
The brand-new short tokusatsu film 'FES Godzilla II: Shinjuku Inferno', specially produced for 'Godzilla Fes 2025', Godzilla's biggest annual festival, depicts the story of Millennium Godzilla engaging in a new battle in Shinjuku, Kabukicho, Tokyo. The Godzilla appearing in the film uses the same suit from the movie 'Godzilla 2000', and upon landing in Shinjuku, it even has a heartwarming encounter with the famous landmark, the 'Godzilla Head at Shinjuku Toho Building'. When Millennium Godzilla is attacked by the Japan Self-Defense Forces, its body temperature instantly rises, transforming it into its 'Burning Form'. The powerful heat ray it emits from its mouth engulfs the city in flames, but at this moment, the silhouette of another monster approaches from within the smoke...
'GVA-BC Burning Millennium Godzilla Frog tree (Burning Color)' is a collaborative product with the designer group Frog tree. As always, it incorporates their unique artistry and traditional Japanese aesthetics into Godzilla's design. While expressing Godzilla's biological feel, it also features exaggerated, flame-like dorsal fins, and the scorching skin on its thighs has a transparent flame pattern design with an inorganic texture.
