Japanese BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize brand BANPRESTO yesterday (5th) unveiled a sneak peek of its April 2026 new products, and there's an absolutely fantastic new set that you definitely have to collect! It's a 3D figure... Keronian figure based on "Sgt. Frog" (Keroro Gunso), created by Japanese manga artist "Mine Yoshizaki"!
The story of "Sgt. Frog" recounts how "Sergeant Keroro, captain of the Special Advance Force of the Space Invasion Army from Planet 58 of the Gamma Nebula," descends upon Blue Star (Earth) to begin an invasion, but is unexpectedly discovered and captured by the Hinata siblings, "Fuyuki Hinata" and "Natsumi Hinata." To make matters worse, the invasion headquarters also had to urgently withdraw from Earth for various reasons; thus, Sergeant Keroro, as the captain of the advance force, had no choice but to embark on an exciting, interesting, and hilarious military (?) life coexisting with the Blue Star inhabitants.
The best part about this new BANPRESTO release is that it explicitly features the entire Keroro Platoon. It includes "Sergeant Keroro," "Corporal Giroro," "Private Tamama," "Sergeant Major Kururu," and "Lance Corporal Dororo." Each character not only vividly captures their expressive faces, but their dynamic poses are also quite excellent. Coupled with the standardized white smoke effects, lining them up creates a display that is both adorable and imposing. Furthermore, the Sergeant Keroro figure's base also includes the "Sgt. Frog" series LOGO, which should be very touching for toy collectors who love this series, right~? A must-buy!
