Japanese confectionery veteran Furuta Seika (フルタ製菓) will launch a new product in its popular Furuta Choco Egg series: the "Furuta Choco Egg Hello Kitty" collectible toy, featuring Sanrio's beloved star, Hello Kitty. The suggested retail price is 280 JPY per egg, and it is scheduled for release on December 8, 2025!
Each "Furuta Choco Egg Hello Kitty" will include one mini Hello Kitty character figure. This series is themed around three eras: Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa, featuring five designs from each era, plus one secret design, totaling 16 styles! The Showa theme includes Honda, Chibi Maruko-chan, Showa Idols, 70s style, and Rotary Phone; the Heisei theme includes Heisei Idols, Monster Hunter, Ganguro (tanned gyaru), Puyo Puyo, and Ken Matsudaira; the Reiwa theme includes Finger Heart, Solo Camping, Cassoulet, [Oshi no Ko], and Heisei Idols. These exquisitely capture the trends and characteristics of each era, allowing Hello Kitty's outfits to chronicle nearly a century of cultural and fashion evolution, while also showcasing Hello Kitty's timeless charm!
