This is the first product from the collaboration between MOSHOW and Tencent, the Honor of Kings series Monkey King Sun Wukong.
Retaining the monkey elements, the Monkey King Sun Wukong that everyone envisions is presented directly in a mecha form. While MOSHOW might not be at the absolute pinnacle in the die-cast toy field, their paint application and quality control are arguably among the best, reaching ceiling-level standards. Having purchased many MOSHOW products like Kai no Tora and Bontenmaru, the quality of my collection so far has been absolutely impeccable. The price point is also reasonable, offering excellent value for money, making it truly worthwhile as a playable toy.
Overall, whether it's the paint application, facial sculpt, or articulation, the tactile feel during play is very comfortable. The biggest fear with metal-painted toys is usually paint scratching and discovering paint bleed upon unboxing. This Monkey King cleverly avoids areas where paint scratching might occur due to interference. As for paint bleed, at least with the items I've collected so far, I haven't encountered this issue, giving me great confidence in MOSHOW's paint application.
When Kai no Tora was first released, its powerful sole magnets combined with the display base's adsorption left a deep impression on many collectors. This feature is also present in this Monkey King. However, compared to Kai no Tora and Bontenmaru, which could directly attach to my refrigerator, the Monkey King's magnetic force isn't quite as strong. This might be due to different magnet sizes, but it's certainly sufficient for attaching to the display base.
The overall stability is also beyond reproach. With ample die-cast material and robust joint strength, it can stand steadily on one leg and strike poses even with four large banners on its back. Below is a simple unboxing and sharing for everyone.

▼The main body appears, with paint application that is truly top-tier, beyond words

▼The hair has a gradient effect, Super Saiyan?

▼Can look up significantly

▼Ninety-degree rotation

▼One hundred eighty-degree rotation

▼It's not surprising that Sun Wukong, capable of 72 transformations, can rotate his head like this

▼Can look down

▼The eyes feature a lighting effect; the first activation is constant light, the second is flashing, and the third turns it off

▼Lights off

▼The lion head eyes on the shoulder armor also have a lighting effect, and like the head eyes, they both use two AG1 button cell batteries

▼Lights on

▼All golden parts on the body are antique gold

▼Front skirt armor

▼Tiny articulated parts on the skirt armor

▼The front skirt armor can be lifted to avoid interference when raising the leg

▼Waist can bend down

▼The back features a bio-mechanical structure similar to Iron Man, which articulates when pressed down

▼The detailed patterns on the rear skirt armor are also meticulously crafted

▼The mechanical tail consists of individual segments, with a soft wire inside allowing it to bend

▼Arms can be raised horizontally, with some interference requiring the shoulders to be slightly lifted

▼Internal joints can be pulled out to increase articulation

▼Utilizes a swing-out joint

▼The red part below the joint also features well-executed detailed patterns

▼The arm can rotate in three segments

▼The arm can be rotated and repositioned according to your preferred pose to avoid interference

▼Shoulder armor can be pulled out

▼The left and right skirt armors can expand or flip to accommodate leg movements, avoiding interference

▼The internal paint application and color separation of the skirt armor are also excellent

▼Thigh joints are metal parts

▼When raising the leg, the thigh armor slides, revealing internal structural details, known as sliding armor, first applied in Bandai's PG series models like the Strike Gundam

▼The structure of the foot claws also mimics an animal monkey

▼The big toe of the foot claw is independently articulated

▼The foot claws can bend slightly

▼Excellent stability for a single-leg stance

▼The backpack can hold four battle flags, which are made of soft plastic

▼The characters on the flags are "Qi", "Tian", "Da", "Sheng" (齊.天.大.聖 - Monkey King)

▼The flags are connected by ball joints, allowing for arbitrary changes in direction and rotation

▼The direction is not fixed; you can arrange them from left to right or right to left as you prefer

▼Because of the ball joint connection, if you don't like horizontal flags, you can also display them vertically

▼The hand types come with a stand for organized storage. Except for one special hand type for each left and right, all others are paired hand types

▼The Ruyi Jingu Bang with a strong mechanical and technological feel

▼It's quite long, roughly the same height as the main body when held straight

▼Also included is a curved staff body, which, like the short one, is made of metal

▼It gets even longer when swapped in! XD

▼The standard Ruyi Jingu Bang

▼Details, color separation, and paint application are beyond words~

▼In addition to the original facial sculpt, this Monkey King also comes with an extra one

▼Angry face! The paint application and coloring on this face truly deserve a hundred points!!

▼The battery compartment for the head is located inside; you need to remove the hair to replace them. It uses two AG1 batteries, and activation is done by bringing the included nameplate close (magnetic induction)

▼Magnetic display base. The nameplate acts as the activation switch for the shoulder and eye lights

▼Sturdy, rubber-coated stand

▼When displaying, you can store the interchangeable hand types on the stand

▼The Ruyi Jingu Bang, smaller than a toothpick, combined with special hand types and extreme articulation, allows for poses like pulling the staff from the ear. This staff is extremely, extremely, extremely fragile, so please be careful when gripping it!!!

Summary:
Above is a simple unboxing introduction. The main thing to note is that the Ruyi Jingu Bang in the last photo is very small and fragile, so be extremely careful when gripping it. Avoid interfering parts during play to prevent paint scratching. The overall joint tightness and metal content are very sufficient, making this an excellent die-cast figure. This figure requires four AG1 button cell batteries, which are not included and must be purchased separately.
