The 'ROBOT魂' (ROBOT SPIRITS) series of robot-themed articulated figures, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the commercialization of its latest product from the anime "Aura Battler Dunbine", the "Dunbine (H.D.)". The release date is yet to be determined.
The insectoid robot Dunbine is a prototype Aura Battler developed in Byston Well, an otherworldly realm nestled between land and sea. Its developer, Shot Weapon, aimed to significantly enhance its performance compared to the first Aura Battler, the Guay. The refined system demands an extremely high level of Aura Power from its pilot, thus only three exceptionally powerful surface dwellers—Sho Zama, Todd, and Tokamak—could be summoned to pilot it.
The newly released "ROBOT SPIRITS Dunbine (H.D.)" has been meticulously analyzed and researched based on various creations related to "Aura Battler Dunbine" since its broadcast. The "H.D." in its name stands for "High Density," signifying a brand-new series that pursues intricate three-dimensional design and high-density detailing. In contrast to previous Dunbine series machines released under ROBOT SPIRITS, the H.D. version features entirely new sculpting. Its design style pays homage to mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi's "AURA FHANTASM" column in the model magazine "B-CLUB". The entire body's armor, joints, and wings are imbued with a highly organic form, capturing the texture of a powerful beast's wings, claws, and carapace, and even features golden embossed details reminiscent of the Zwarth.

Furthermore, TAMASHII NATIONS also simultaneously showcased the Aura Battler "ROBOT SPIRITS Zwarth (H.D.)", piloted by Sho Zama's rival, the "Black Knight" Burn Bunnings. It features an exterior design that similarly blends mechanical and organic textures, with its jet-black armor presented using various glossy parts, and cool embossed designs on its chest and shield.
