Numskull Designs, an American collectible brand, recently announced two new additions to its "TUBBZ" series, which transforms characters from major films, anime, manga, and video games into duck toys. These latest releases are from the horror video game Silent Hill 2: "Nurse" and "Pyramid Head"! They are scheduled for release in November 2025, with a suggested retail price of £19.99 each.
The classic enemy monster characters from Silent Hill 2 appear in a brand new form! While the Nurse has typically been depicted with an image that combines "sultry sexiness and horror," this time she transforms into a pale duck covered in blood and holding a pipe. The handling of bloodstains on various parts of the body is exquisitely detailed, showcasing different application methods like splatters or smears, and the terrifying mouth expression is also perfectly rendered.
The other character, Pyramid Head, also fully embodies the distinctive design features from the game. The triangular cone-shaped metal helmet has a strong presence, with hammered dents, dried bloodstains, and newly splattered blood all rendered with meticulous sculpting. The weathering on the clothing and the body, missing pieces here and there, are also faithfully recreated. The more you look, the more bizarre and grotesque it feels! Toy collectors who want them to join them in the bath are definitely hardcore.
