Following the release of "Rei Ayanami," the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company has once again announced the second product in its character model kit series, '30 MINUTES PREFERENCE,' from the anime "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition": "Shikinami Asuka Langley (Plugsuit Ver.)," slated for release in April 2026.
'30 MINUTES PREFERENCE' leverages the extensive experience and technology cultivated under the 30 MINUTES LABEL to acquire various external IPs and work licenses, releasing model kits of numerous popular characters, allowing players to build their beloved figures. The character introduced this time is Shikinami Asuka Langley, one of the heroines from "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition." She is a genius girl from Germany who became an ace pilot in the European Air Force at just 14 years old, serving as the pilot of EVA Unit-02.
The "30MP Shikinami Asuka Langley (Plugsuit Ver.)" inherits the design of the previous "Rei Ayanami" release, utilizing multi-color molded parts to faithfully recreate Asuka's slender figure, the various colors of her red plugsuit, and its high-gloss texture. It features precise sculpting and articulated joint designs, providing flexible posability without compromising the integrity of the sculpt, allowing for a variety of charming poses. Accessories are expected to include two pre-printed face parts, interchangeable lower body parts to recreate a duck-sitting pose, multiple hand gestures, and the "Spear of Cassius."
