Yesterday (18th), Danish toy company LEGO officially unveiled several new products set to release on January 1, 2026. This article brings you product information for LEGO Art series set number 31218, the 'Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape' (tentative translation)! The suggested retail price is US$139.99.
This incredibly beautiful brick-built artwork comprises a total of 1892 pieces. Once assembled, its dimensions are approximately 39 × 35 cm in width and height, and about 6 cm in depth. The overall design is inspired by Japan's stunning spring scenery and the paintings of Ukiyo-e artists, using bricks to create a magical scene of cranes soaring over Mount Fuji amidst a crimson sunset. You can also simultaneously take in the inverted reflection of Fuji in the water. Additionally, there are blooming cherry blossoms, a waterfall, Japanese Maple 'Sango-Kaku', a teahouse, and more. Many intricate details, such as the selection of parts and the gradient changes in the background colors, are worth savoring.
▼ Truly stunning! And the construction of the red-crowned cranes is incredibly clever.
This LEGO Art 'Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape' can also be displayed on a shelf or hung on a wall. When hung, you can truly appreciate the charm of the waterfall extending beyond the frame (the waterfall's length can be adjusted when laid flat)! What the editor particularly loves is the black frame design, which not only creates visual depth but also features golden elements at the four corners, adding to the Japanese aesthetic and meticulous attention to beautiful details.
