BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, a Japanese company, has announced the latest collaborative product, "ARQUEBUS CORPORATION VP-40S," from its original model kit series '30 MINUTES MISSIONS,' known for its easy assembly and customizable features. This product, a collaboration with 'Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon,' is scheduled for release in June 2026.
'Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon' is the latest installment in the 'Armored Core' series, developed by FromSoftware after a decade-long hiatus. The story is set on the remote planet Rubicon 3, where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called Coral. Believed to be a new energy source capable of vastly advancing technology, it instead brought about a devastating catastrophe that consumed the entire star system. Nearly a century later, the terrifying Coral has become the target of interstellar corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again assume the role of a mercenary pilot, "Raven," infiltrating Rubicon and delving deeper into the heart of this conflict.
The featured product is the "VP-40S" series, an corporate standard AC developed by the ARQUEBUS CORPORATION in the game. This is a mid-weight bipedal mass-production model, with slightly higher EN and defense but no other particularly outstanding performance, making its various parts a well-balanced and excellent machine. The kit leverages the 30MM series' signature features of easy assembly and free customization to create a model kit specification. It meticulously reproduces the high-density details on the armor surface with precise parts, using two molding colors, dark gray and light gray, to convey a sense of substantiality.
Each part—head, core, arms, and legs—is produced with the series' common structure, allowing for free customization just like in the game. The weapon included is the "VP-66LH Laser Handgun," which can be posed in combat stances thanks to the flexible articulation design.
