Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Shokugan division, BANDAI CANDY, has announced the latest Shokugan product themed after the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam," the "Mobile Suit Gundam V Operation Biscuits," slated for release in July 2026.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam V Operation Biscuits" is a Shokugan product that includes mini Gundam assembly models. The biscuit portion consists of butter-flavored round biscuits, each randomly printed with 10 different character illustrations, including classic characters from the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" such as Amuro, Sayla, Bright, Char, and more.
The true highlight of the product is the mini Gundam assembly models included with the biscuits. These Gundam models, standing approximately 2.6 cm tall, are assembled from four molded color parts (red, white, blue, and yellow). They feature an adorable 2-head-tall SD proportion and some movable joints. There are five types to collect: Gundam, Guncannon, Guntank, G-Fighter, and Core Fighter X2 & Weapon Set.
Each mobile suit also faithfully recreates flexible transformation mechanisms. In addition to combining parts from the Gundam, Core Fighter, and G-Fighter to form configurations such as G-Armor, G-Bull, Gundam MA Mode, and Light G-Falcon, the upper and lower halves of the Guncannon and Guntank can also be freely interchanged.
