"Your soul is mine!"
Japanese manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure brand POP UP PARADE will once again release a popular anime "SOUL EATER" themed product—the "Maka Albarn" pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 6,200 JPY, with an estimated release in May 2026!
"SOUL EATER" is a manga series by Atsushi Ohkubo serialized in "Monthly Shonen Gangan" from 2004 to 2013. In 2008, it was adapted into a TV anime by Studio BONES. The story is set in the fictional "Death City" at the Death Weapon Meister Academy, focusing on the adventurous journey of students and their weapon partners as they absorb souls in pursuit of becoming powerful Death Scythes.
This POP UP PARADE Maka Albarn is a re-release of the product originally launched in February 2024. It captures Maka in a standing pose, holding the transformed scythe, Soul. The sculpting faithfully reproduces the unique body proportions of characters drawn by Atsushi Ohkubo, with delicate paintwork enhancing the colors at the joints. Her flowing twin-tails and trench coat add a strong sense of dynamism to the overall figure, and the impressive large size of the Soul scythe significantly boosts its presence!
