Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO, under its "GLITTER & GLAMOURS" series which showcases feminine charm, is releasing two new "Pretty Cure" themed products—"Cure Black" and "Cure White"—scheduled to be released as prize figures on November 27, 2025!
The first generation of "Pretty Cure" (Futari wa Pretty Cure), produced by Toei Animation in 2004, tells the story of Misumi Nagisa, an athletic and lively girl, and Yukishiro Honoka, an academically excellent but somewhat air-headed girl. These two girls with completely different personalities one day encounter the mysterious magical creatures Mepple and Mipple, and are granted the power to transform into Pretty Cures, becoming embroiled in the conflict between the Garden of Light and the Dark Zone.
Both prize figures in this release stand approximately 25 cm tall, bringing to life Cure Black and Cure White in their transformed forms. The sculpting showcases the details and wrinkles of their battle suits, while Cure White's flowing hair adds a dynamic feel to the overall composition. They exquisitely recreate the moment when both characters raise their arms and shout "Black Thunder" and "White Thunder" upwards. When displayed side-by-side, they perfectly recreate the instant they unleash their special move, "Marble Screw"!
