Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey's career plummeted after multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment surfaced in 2017. Despite subsequently winning several lawsuits and clearing his name of some charges, his tarnished reputation has been difficult to restore, and Hollywood has yet to truly welcome his return. This has, in turn, led to the loss of high-paying job opportunities and significant financial distress.
In a recent interview with "The Telegraph," Spacey candidly admitted that he currently has no permanent residence. "I live in hotels, I'm living in Airbnbs, I'm going where the work is. I literally have no home, that's what I'm attempting to explain," he stated. He elaborated on the immense financial burden, noting, "The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I've had very little coming in and everything going out."

Spacey also revealed he is still actively seeking a path back to Hollywood's A-list. "We are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work, and that will happen in its right time," he shared. He further expressed his belief that the industry is awaiting a definitive signal from a highly respected figure. "My feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino called my manager Evan Lowenstein tomorrow, all the difficulties would be overcome," Spacey mused. "I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone."
