Back in July, during a concert in Manchester, UK, singer Billie Eilish unexpectedly revealed that "Avatar" franchise director James Cameron, a renowned master of 3D cinematography, was on-site filming a 3D concert movie for her ongoing tour. Today, Eilish officially announced that the concert film is slated for release on March 20, 2026, with both her and Cameron sharing directing credits.

In her post, Eilish expressed that her "Hit Me Hard and Soft" tour has been one of her favorites, and co-directing with Cameron is a dream come true. Following the final show of her San Francisco leg on Sunday, Eilish promptly posted the concert film's release date, accompanied by a black-and-white candid photo (pictured above) of her and Cameron discussing shots backstage. Paramount Pictures will distribute the film.
