The popular assembly model shokugan series 'SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT', released by BANDAI CANDY, the shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product 'Ga-Ohn' from the anime 'The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn', scheduled for release in July 2026.
Ga-Ohn is a brave robot that awakened from a lion ice sculpture atop Mount Kilimanjaro and protects the Earth. It possesses a 'Beast Mode' with a lion appearance, capable of sprinting across the land, and a transformed 'Robot Mode'. It can unleash powerful combat capabilities using a rich arsenal of weapons such as the Ga-Ohn Axe, G-Cannon, G-Magazine, and more. Furthermore, Ga-Ohn can combine with Da-Garn X to form the strongest form, 'Legend Great Da-Garn'.
'SMP Ga-Ohn' is assembled using multi-color molded parts and supplementary stickers. In Robot Mode, it stands approximately 15 cm tall, featuring a sophisticated design faithful to the original settings, articulated joints, and partial transformation mechanisms. Crucially, there are no leftover parts during the transformation between 'Beast Mode' and 'Robot Mode'. In 'Beast Mode', it boasts articulated limbs and an opening/closing mouth mechanism. An original mechanism allows the 'G-Cannon' and 'G-Magazine' to be mounted on both sides of its backpack. In 'Robot Mode', its highly flexible joints enable it to wield weapons such as the Ga-Ohn Axe and the G-Cannon & G-Magazine (linked state).
Furthermore, 'SMP Ga-Ohn' can combine with the separately sold 'SMP Da-Garn X' to recreate the strongest form, 'Legend Great Da-Garn'. Included accessories feature interchangeable head and backpack parts that prioritize screen accuracy, bringing it even closer to its appearance in the show. The rear of the legs incorporates a storage design for the 'Earth Cannon' parts, allowing for a complete combination without any leftover components. By combining the 'G-Cannon', 'G-Magazine', and 'G-Golden Bird', the ultimate weapon, the 'GX Wave Cannon' or 'GX Buster Vulcan', can be completed. With interchangeable expression parts, two different expressions can be swapped for both the transformation-combination version and the sculpt-prioritizing version of the head. Special parts are also included to recreate its legendary power activation pose from the final episode.
