American designer toy brand KIDROBOT, under its Art Giants series which specializes in large-scale, high-quality collectibles, has unveiled a new product based on the American adult animated series South Park—the "Eric Cartman" statue. The suggested retail price is US$2,399.99, with an anticipated release in June 2026!
South Park is an adult animated series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for Comedy Central, which began in 1997. For over two decades, it has fearlessly satirized American Hollywood, politics, and current events with various hilarious and uninhibited storylines. From 1999 to 2005, it was also broadcast in Taiwan on Channel V and Star Movies. The hilarious localized translations in the Mandarin dub, incorporating local current events, are surely a fond memory for many toy enthusiasts, with segments like "Ah-Bian Ba-Ba-Da-Xia" and "Mr. Golden's Look Here" becoming classic memes!
This Art Giants series brings one of the show's main characters, Eric Cartman, to life in three dimensions. Crafted from high-quality fiberglass, the statue stands at an astonishing 91.5 cm tall. The sculpting faithfully recreates his rounded, "large-boned" physique, and the flat coloring meticulously reproduces the animated series' color effects. Its colossal size commands an absolute presence, posing significant challenges in terms of both display space and price, making it the ultimate collectible for South Park fans!
