Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts" is based on Kentaro Miura's dark fantasy manga "Berserk." Following the release of "Guts" and "Casca" from the Golden Age Arc, they officially announced today (27th) their latest product, "Griffith (Band of the Hawk)"! It is scheduled for release starting July 2026, with a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY.
Griffith, though born a commoner, harbored a grand ambition: to establish his own kingdom. He single-handedly formed the fearsome mercenary group, the "Band of the Hawk." Griffith was a genius in every aspect, from appearance and martial arts to leadership, possessing unparalleled charisma. The White Hawk, who repeatedly achieved military successes and excelled in strategy, finally ascended to nobility in Midland. However, just as he was on the verge of realizing his dream, the departure of his closest friend, Guts, caused Griffith to fall hard; without Guts, he became self-destructive, even having an affair with the princess, enraging the king and leading to his disgrace. In utter despair, Griffith abandoned his humanity and flesh, summoning the "Eclipse" to sacrifice his former comrades, and was reborn as Femto, the final member of the God Hand....
This S.H.Figuarts rendition of Griffith (Band of the Hawk) is thoroughly supervised by "STUDIO GAGA" (スタジオ我画). Standing approximately 15.5 cm tall, the figure is designed "from the skeleton up" to faithfully reproduce the original proportions, fully recreating Griffith's silver armor, helmet, sword, and brown long boots from the Golden Age Arc. Notably, the legs incorporate a new mechanism (patent pending in Japan) that allows for more natural and fluid movements.
Accessories include multiple face parts for both bare-faced and helmeted states, interchangeable hands, a helmet, hair parts to be used with the helmet, and a long sword with intricate detailing on the hilt! The cape is made of fabric, allowing for dynamic, flowing movement with poses.
