Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Ultimate Premium Masterline" series recently announced its latest product from the fighting video game "Guilty Gear -Strive-", developed and published by Arc System Works: the "Baiken" (バイケン) 1/4 scale statue bonus version! Shipping is scheduled to begin from March to June 2027, with a limited quantity of 400 units and a suggested retail price of 214,390 JPY (tax included).
Baiken, a veteran classic character and formidable female warrior from "Guilty Gear," has been brought to life in a powerful 80 cm tall three-dimensional form! This piece is based on the official key visual, depicting Baiken in a battle-ready stance, holding her katana in her left hand and lowering her center of gravity. The fierce killing intent conveyed by her sharp gaze is perfectly preserved in this statue! From her wild, flowing red hair, the scars beneath her eye patch, her ample bosom, her treasured katana named "Sakura," to the hem of her kimono lifted by Sakura, every detail is fully reproduced. In addition to exquisitely capturing the distinct textures of her haori and kimono, the statue also employs a 3DCG cel-shaded (セルルック) rendering style, reminiscent of 2D animation, cleverly combining shadow effects with beautiful colors.
The base incorporates rich Japanese-style elements that resonate with Baiken's character design. Quietly falling red leaves, a flash effect depicting a demonic slash, and a realistically weathered katana plunged into the ground all enhance the atmospheric setting of this piece, fully conveying the world of "Guilty Gear -Strive-."
▼ Purchases made through the Prime 1 Studio official online store will also receive an interchangeable left arm part holding a sake flask (徳利) as a bonus.
