This past August, renowned entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider reported on his blog, The InSneider, that director Zack Snyder, who has collaborated extensively with Netflix in recent years, has seen his relationship with the streamer reportedly sour. This is attributed to the increasingly lackluster performance of his projects on the platform. Now, Forbes magazine appears to corroborate these claims, as Netflix has reportedly canceled yet another Snyder-helmed IP.
Forbes recently revealed that the adult animated series "Twilight of the Gods," which Snyder co-created, was canceled after just one season. While the series reportedly received decent critical reception, it likely failed to meet viewership expectations, leading to its cancellation.

Forbes described "Twilight of the Gods" as Snyder's last remaining IP at Netflix. His "Army of the Dead" franchise was reportedly shelved last year, with planned sequels and an already produced animated spin-off scrapped. Furthermore, his ambitious space opera universe "Rebel Moon" has seen other cross-media spin-off plans stall following widespread negative reviews for both films.
Snyder is currently pivoting to two smaller-budget drama films, namely "The Last Photograph" and the UFC-themed "Brawler". His future with Netflix, however, remains uncertain. Snyder also has an LAPD-set action film in development at Netflix, but that project reportedly hit a snag recently due to budget concerns.
