Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon division will release a new product based on "Thomas & Friends"—the "Thomas & Friends Hanging Mascot" gashapon. The reference price is 400 Japanese Yen per turn, and it is scheduled to be released in the third week of December 2025!
"Thomas & Friends" is a British children's television series that began airing in 1984. Initially animated using low-cost 1:32 scale physical models, it tells the adventure stories of anthropomorphic trains on the fictional island of Sodor. This "Thomas & Friends Hanging Mascot" series features everyone's good friend Thomas, Thomas's best friend Percy, the professional and serious Fat Controller, and the kind-hearted helicopter Harold, all sculpted with somewhat surprised expressions. Among them, the Fat Controller has a regular version where he's wearing a suit and being lifted, and also a super cute version where he's wearing a one-piece swimsuit and eating ice cream! The charms come in two versions: ball chain and lobster clasp. Combined with the five character designs, there are a total of 10 styles. Toy enthusiasts can connect all the charms using the hooks at the bottom and top of the charms, displaying them all at once on their school bags for a super eye-catching look!
