Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division is launching a new product based on the popular anime "Ranma ½" under its popular "Machibouke" (Waiting) series: "Waiting Ranma ½ ~Milky Color~". The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in December 2025!
Rumiko Takahashi's "Ranma ½" story revolves around the boy Ranma Saotome, who falls into a cursed spring during training and turns into a girl when splashed with cold water, only returning to his male form with hot water. The series, which also features his fiancée Akane Tendo, depicts their hilarious and chaotic daily lives filled with romantic entanglements and martial arts challenges.
This "Waiting Ranma ½ ~Milky Color~" series is a recolor based on the original version released in December 2024. It features several popular characters from the series sculpted in an approximately 2.5-head tall proportion. The collection includes five types: Ranma Saotome, Akane Tendo, Shampoo, Genma (Panda), and Ranma (Girl-type). The character's design details are faithfully reproduced in a size of approximately 3.7 cm tall, now featuring a milky color scheme that presents a visual effect closer to the new anime adaptation, exuding a different vibe from the original version!
