Danish toy company LEGO has recently been revealing a wealth of new products set to release in 2026. This article will introduce the latest 28th series of the "LEGO Minifigures" series, which generated widespread discussion upon its recent announcement! Numbered 71051, it is scheduled for release on January 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$4.99 per figure, and a total of 12 minifigures to collect.
Within the LEGO Minifigures series, animal costume minifigures have always been among the most popular. This includes the Series 3 "Gorilla Suit Guy," Series 5 "Lizard Man," Series 7 "Bunny Suit Guy," and Series 10 "Bumblebee Girl," all of which were animal costume characters whose prices had already skyrocketed when I first started collecting; and more recently released characters like the Alpaca Suit Guy, T-Rex Suit Guy, Triceratops Suit Guy, and Ladybug Girl are also super cute and truly irresistible. The previous rule of almost every series featuring only one animal costume character has been directly broken in this latest series! All 12 characters are incredibly interesting animal characters, delivered in full.
Personally, the ones I want most this time are the Frog Suit Guy and the Lion Suit Guy! Especially the Frog Suit Guy, who comes with a bubble-blowing expression and accessories, which is truly adorable. Which one is your favorite, fellow toy enthusiasts??
