According to a recent report from Nexus Point News, Matt Smith, Sam Rockwell, and Claes Bang are reportedly on DC Studios' shortlist to portray Brainiac. All three actors boast significant experience playing antagonists. Smith, in particular, has a robust villainous resume, having menaced audiences in blockbusters like "Morbius" and "Terminator Genisys".
Rockwell, known for his versatile screen presence, previously took on villainous roles in "Charlie's Angels" and "Iron Man 2". Meanwhile, Danish actor Claes Bang famously starred as the titular vampire in the Netflix series "Dracula".
