Japanese model company MEGAHOUSE's affordable small-scale monster figure series "MONSTERS CHRONICLE" is releasing a new Yu-Gi-Oh! themed product: the "Dark Magician" pre-painted figure. It is priced at 8,580 JPY and is scheduled for release in May 2026!
The 7-star monster card "Dark Magician" (also translated as "Black Magician": ブラック・マジシャン) is the ace monster of protagonist Yugi Muto in the anime Yu-Gi-Oh!. He is the incarnation of Mahad, one of the six priests serving Pharaoh Atem, and is the most trusted monster of both Yugi and his alter ego, Atem.
This MONSTERS CHRONICLE Dark Magician figure stands approximately 12 cm tall, bringing to life his classic purple armor appearance from the card illustration in the second season of the TV anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. The sculpting faithfully recreates the design of the Dark Magician's armor and the dynamic flow of the front and back loincloths. The base uses clear colored material to create a magical effect of swirling dust, supporting the airborne main body. The green staff is painted with metallic paint to achieve a high-quality finish! Furthermore, it can be displayed together with the "Silent Magician," which was revealed simultaneously, to recreate battle scenes!
