The "Extraction" action film series, starring Chris Hemsworth, is not only confirmed for a third installment, but Netflix also announced in February an upcoming spin-off series led by French star Omar Sy. Today, Netflix further revealed plans for a second spin-off film, titled "Tygo," which will be set in Korea. The streaming giant also unveiled the cast, crew, and synopsis for the new project.

Unlike the Omar Sy-led series, "Tygo" will be a feature film. It's confirmed to star Ma Dong-seok (also known as Don Lee), Lee Jin-wook, and BLACKPINK member Lisa. Lee Sang-yong, who directed Ma Dong-seok in "The Roundup" and "The Roundup: No Way Out" (the second and third installments of "The Outlaws" series), will helm the project. This marks Lisa's feature film debut.
The film centers on Ma Dong-seok's new mercenary character, Tygo. A former child soldier who continued his career as a professional mercenary into adulthood, Tygo embarks on a path of revenge that leads him deep into the Korean underworld after a mission goes awry.
