Japanese model company Kaiyodo (KAIYODO)'s popular action figure series "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" will release its latest product, the "Getter 1 OVA Ver." action figure, based on the classic anime "Shin Getter Robo Armageddon". It will be priced at 14,300 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2026.
The "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Getter 1 OVA Ver." action figure, based on the anime's design, is sculpted by the talented Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. It faithfully recreates the unique, voluminous proportions from the series. The sleek, rounded body incorporates the latest articulation standards, utilizing a muscle-linkage-style movable structure instead of traditional pull-out joints, allowing for more dynamic and natural combat poses!
Accessories include the Getter Wing cape, composed of five segmented parts that can change shape to match dynamic poses. Additionally, various effect parts are included, allowing collectors to perfectly recreate the anime's visual effects. These include: the Getter Beam fired from the abdomen, dual Getter Machine Gun barrages, and Getter Tomahawk slashes. With the full range of beam attack effects and the cape wrapped around the body, the powerful scene of "Spiral Getter Beam Barrage" can be recreated!
Pre-ordering at Kaiyodo's directly managed stores will include an exclusive bonus: a new "Getter Tomahawk Spin Effect" accessory!
